About Totkin
Totkin is an all-in-one app for preschools, playschools, daycares and creches in India. It runs the school's whole day — attendance and check-ins, the child's-day feed parents read, fees and installments, daycare session logs, transport, staff and reports — and it can be published as your school's own branded app on the Play Store and App Store.
Why Totkin exists
School software in India usually looks like accounting software — grey tables, tiny buttons, and parents left squinting. We believe an app that lands in a parent's pocket, next to their family photos, should feel like it belongs there.
So Totkin is deliberately warm: colours from a child's paintbox, screens a grandmother can use, Hindi and English side by side — and underneath it, the serious machinery a school actually needs: fees, payroll, permissions, reports and audit trails.
Totkin is India-first by design: UPI payments, WhatsApp-style simplicity, multi-branch chains, and the daily rhythms of Indian preschools and creches — including the extended-stay and late-pickup billing that daycare owners argue about every month.

Is Totkin a school ERP?
No. Totkin is built specifically for preschools, playschools, daycares and creches — children roughly 6 months to 6 years. That focus is why it has things a K-12 ERP does not: nap and meal logs, extended-stay and late-pickup billing, a photo feed parents actually open, and authorised-pickup checks at the gate.
Which schools run on Totkin today?
One, so far: Xplorer Kids, our launch partner, running Totkin for its full day — attendance, the parent feed, fees and daycare logs. Totkin is a new product and we would rather say that than inflate a number. Schools joining now still shape what gets built.
Are Totkin's apps on the Play Store and App Store?
They are launching. Schools on Totkin Signature get their own listing published under their own school name and icon, with no Totkin branding anywhere in it — that is the whole point of Signature.
Does Totkin really work in Hindi?
Yes, at full parity — every screen, both languages, switchable per user. A teacher can work in Hindi while the principal works in English, on the same data, at the same time.
